Term 4 Newsletter

It’s great to be back! I had a wonderful term, first touring round 12 other schools to see what programs they use and gaining lots of ideas! Then we had a fabulous holiday touring round Europe, we saw so many awesome places and countries. I feel very refreshed. A big welcome to Jackson Cree who started at the end of last term, and Benji Watts, Merrick Clarke and Evie Blakelock who are all starting this term.
Every Tuesday it is alphabet news. This is where the children bring something along that starts with the letter of the week to share with the class. The letters this term are this week f then k, r, n, m, i, j, p, and x.
Upcoming events this term include Pet day in 2 weeks also our big day out in the last week of term. Portfolios will go home at the end of the term.
This term we will be looking at Fire Safety, Pet day and finding out about dinosaurs. As a school we will be studying money with a market day this week. Room 2 will be looking at the value of coins and simple money in Maths, as well as ongoing counting and number knowledge.
We will be practising throwing, catching and hitting large and small balls this term.
